From Monday 19 to Saturday 25 October, we will be taking part in Get Online Week, the UK’s largest digital inclusion campaign.

Throughout the week, we’ll be helping people across Halton build confidence online and develop essential digital skills through a range of free support sessions. Whether you’re looking to learn something new, get more from your device, or simply need help getting started, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved.

As part of Get Online Week, and year-round, our IT Assistance service will be available in all libraries throughout the day. Customers can drop in for help with using the internet, setting up and managing email accounts, using smartphones, tablets and laptops. No booking or appointment is necessary.

You can also attend one of our IT Help Club: You Can Do I.T sessions, designed to help people take their first steps into the digital world. Sessions will take place:

  • Runcorn Library: every Tuesday, 2 – 4pm
  • Halton Lea Library: every Wednesday, 10.30am – 12pm
  • Widnes Library: every Wednesday, 10.30am – 12pm
  • Ditton Library: every Friday, 10.30am – 12pm

These free drop-in sessions offer friendly, practical support in an informal setting. To celebrate Get Online Week, refreshments will be available for attendees throughout the week.
