Halton Libraries are bringing Reading Friends groups into the libraries as well as on the phone.
Reading Friends brings people together to read, share stories, meet new friends and have fun with a free drink. We use reading – whether books, magazines, newspapers, or anything else – to start everyone chatting.
There are two in-person groups and one phone group
Halton Lea Library
Meets every fortnight on Wednesday at 11am
Ditton Library
Meets every fortnight on Thursday at 3pm
Phone Group
Meets every fortnight on Wednesday at 2.30pm (next groups are on 25th May then 8th June)
If you would like to come along to either group, please contact the library for more details and to book. Please note, places are limited.
All new members will receive a book-themed welcome pack.
