Our free Home Library Service brings books and audiobooks directly to your door if you're unable to visit a Halton Library yourself.
What is the Home Library Service?
The Home Library Service is a free service from Halton Libraries for people who are unable to visit their local library themselves.
A member of our friendly team will get to know your reading interests and choose books and other library resources that we think you'll enjoy. Your items are then delivered directly to your home.

Who can use the service?
The service is for Halton residents who are unable to visit the library themselves.
This might be because of mobility difficulties, illness, disability, age or other circumstances that make visiting a library difficult.

What can I borrow?
There's something for everyone with the Home Library Service. Tell us about the books, authors and subjects you enjoy, and we'll choose a selection based on your interests.
You can borrow a selection of regular print books, large print books and also audiobooks on CD.
