Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge 2020 theme is Silly Squad.

Halton Libraries will be backing the Reading Agency’s annual Summer Reading Challenge which is going digital for 2020 and is aimed at children aged 4-11 years.

Take a look at the video to see how to sign up.  Still having problems signing up?  Email Nicola.Lamb@halton.gov.uk and she will be happy to help.

We’ve got some great ideas for books to read on our Summer Reading Challenge book list.

In a hurry and don’t want to browse?  Then drop in and pick up a Summer Reading Challenge Grab Bag.  These fun filled bags contain 6 age appropriate books, SRC instructions and an activity sheet. There is even a picture to colour on the outside of the bag!

If you can’t make it to our library buildings, we have a great collection of ebooks and eaudio books and all you need is a Halton Library card and PIN.

Not a member of the library?  Don’t worry, it’s quick and easy to join.

We also have a packed programme of online silliness and family activities on Facebook and Twitter @HaltonLibraries.  Don’t miss out, join us for a summer of fun including these sensational story times with Mama G:
