Summer Report 2026

Throughout the 2026 Summer Holidays, Halton Library Service delivered an extensive programme of free events, workshops and activities for children and families across the borough.

The schedule offered a wide range of exciting opportunities for learning, creativity and family engagement, attracting strong participation throughout the summer.

A new reading incentive, 'Read 5 for a Prize', was also introduced and proved to be a great success. The challenge was enthusiastically embraced, with over 600 Reading Stars successfully completing it.

This Summer Report 2026 highlights the key activities and achievements from across the programme, showcasing participation figures, promotional reach, and positive feedback from both attendees and staff.
