Books on Prescription

Halton libraries offers four Books On Prescription schemes, as provided through the Reading Agency Reading Well scheme. The original scheme covers a variety of common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. The second offer is a collection of books for people living with dementia and their carers.  The third collection of books is aimed at young people and there is now a fourth scheme aimed at people with long term health conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
